Women’s and Men’s Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation

Physical therapists who treat pelvic floor dysfunction are considered pelvic floor or women’s health PTs.  Some PTs are able to treat men, some are not.

Katie has been working with men and women with pelvic floor dysfunction since 2009.

The three functions of the pelvic floor are 1) organ support, 2) bowel and bladder control, and 3) sexual appreciation.  If you are experiencing “dysfunction” in any of these areas, a pelvic floor PT may be able to help.

During a pelvic floor examination, please be prepared for an internal assessment.
