Joel Crandall, PT, DPT

Joel earned his Bachelor of Science studying Psychology in 2007 from the University of Florida. He continued his education at his undergraduate alma mater, and earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy there in 2012. After graduating, he relocated to Denver and has been enjoying life in the mountains ever since.

Joel excels in treating lower back pain, rotator cuff dysfunction, shoulder and neck pain, vestibular dysfunction, neurological deficits (stroke, Parkinson’s, brain injury, spinal cord injuries, etc.), and TMJ dysfunction. Joel also has comprehensive experience with upper and lower extremity post-operative procedures. Joel has completed further training in spinal manipulation, and advanced manual therapy techniques for the lower extremities. He also specializes in manual therapy for rotator cuff dysfunction, as well as mobilization with movement for the lower quadrant and spine. He is currently striving to become a Mulligan certified manual therapist and plans to earn an advanced certification in manual therapy in the near future.  

joel 2In his free time, Joel enjoys playing sports, hiking, backpacking, camping, snowboarding, reading in hammocks, cooking and traveling. He currently plays semi-professional Ultimate Frisbee on a Denver-based team. As an athlete, Joel has successfully recovered from many injuries. He excels in working with athletes and using his personal experiences to empathize with patients and motivate them to get back to their prime.
