Wendee Gardner PT, DPT, MPH

After graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with her Bachelors of Science in Fine Arts and Political Science, Wendee journeyed to Tanzania where she served in the United States Peace Corps as a health educator. Working closely with community members dedicated to improving the health and well-being of those around them, inspired Wendee to study public health. After receiving her Master in Public Health from Emory University, Wendee worked for over six years to advance the health of American Indian populations through community-driven research, health education, and youth engagement initiatives.  Through her own personal experience with injury and recovery from chronic pain Wendee was drawn to physical therapy, and in 2017 she graduated with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

As a PT, Wendee is committed to providing exceptional care to all clients and is passionate about working with individuals to achieve their health and wellness goals. She takes a holistic approach to patient care and enjoys working in a clinic environment with a variety of orthopedic conditions. Her treatment philosophy is a balance between both manual techniques and developing exercise programs tailored to help clients meet their goals.

Wendee and her husband, Sean (a chef) are avid foodies. Both enjoy soaking up the sunshine while hiking in the mountains and never pass on good conversation and sharing a meal with friends.
